We hosted our 2025 FFA Banquet on campus yesterday. The floral design students were tasked with making a total of 59 floral arrangements for this event! @TECCwest @lisdcte @LewisvilleFFA

20 elevated centerpieces (doubled as aisle markers), 12 bud vases, 10 low centerpieces, 10 silk floral stage arrangements, 4 VIP table arrangements, 2 large stage arrangements, and 1 podium arrangement.

Our team came in 2nd in the Area while competing against 67 other teams and 113 students. What a way to represent Lewisville FFA! 🥈

We LOVED all our visitors today, including some staff for tomato repots (Mrs. Surgeson is the BEST). It was great to see students identifying plants learned through the floral pathway, down to discussing differences in species & varieties! Amazing work, Ms. Vela. ☺️🪴

We got to visit our greenhouse and see the work @teccw_hort students are putting in for our plant sale this April! Students also got to see some fresh plant ids we have in our weekly lessons. Always a great day when we get some hands on learning at @TECCwest !
