I spent four hours with "the fabulous Wiseman twins" recently and wrote this US column about them. It was one of the most memorable days I've had as a reporter. Here's their story:

Sorry but I'm late with this. I got to ride on this helicopter in the process of doing this story -- and I'm still dizzy. Or should I say dizzier than usual.

Here's the latest reaction to Post-Gazette stories about childhood cancers in the Canon-McMillan School District and elsewhere in SW PA. Stay tuned. We have more stories coming about the childhood health impacts of shale-gas drilling and fracking.

Here's Part I of a series Don Hopey and I are writing for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette concerning the health impacts of pollution. This serves to update our 2010 Post-Gazette series, Mapping Mortality.
@boutdat_23 Mr. Boyd: I'm a Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reporter and seeking your remembrances of Armani Ford. As you might know, he was shot to death Friday in Clairton. Your best memories of him would be most appreciated. I can be reached at 412-263-1578.
@sshivell Stanley: No, I don't think anyone is reviewing Allegheny Co. numbers. It would interesting to see how many cases there are, but The county has 1.2 million people so you'd expect a case or two per year, and there would have to be many more cases for the DOH to be interested.
@NatalieBritvich -- At the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette we are working on stories about the health impacts of natural gas production with a focus on young cancer victims. I noticed your inspiration story with Luke. Have you heard from others with cancer? Can we talk? 412-263-1578.
