A broad area of low pressure in the Bay of Campeche will move inland over Mexico this weekend... but could re-emerge out over the Gulf by early next week. Although we don't expect any major organization at this time, this could enhance rain chances in our area next week.
Here's how the drought changed over the last week! For the first time since the last week of October in 2025 there are no parts of Central Texas with 'Extreme' Drought (level 3 out of 4).
