Every Week I will post a random TF2 Cosmetic and describe it's design and history. Despite the "Hats" in my name, I will post all cosmetics, not just headwear.

This week's cosmetic is the Cadet Visor, which is for the Scout. It is a futuristic team-colored glass visor with dials on the sides. This was made by Mnemo and was added on October 6, 2015.

This week's cosmetic is the Antlers, which is for All-Classes. It is a brown headband with a pair of reindeer antlers. This was released on December 20, 2012.

This week's hat is the Heavy Duty Rag, which is for the Heavy. It is a team-colored rag with a TF logo pattern tied to the top of Heavy's head. This was made by Sith Happens and tasteekakes and was added on May 20, 2010.

This week's hat is the Snowcapped, which is for Medic. It is a brownish winter cap with a cross on the front and wrap-around wool earmuffs on the back. It also gives gim a beard. This was made by Pie_Savvy, Hotrod McCoolgal and Strno8/Patrezak and was added on December 19, 2018.

This week's hat is the Herald's Helm, which is for the Scout. It is a team-colored, pinstriped medieval knight's helmet adorned with a small tail at the end, resembling an American Football helmet. This was made by PROFILE NAME and Yes and was added on May 11, 2016.

This item is a reference to the Street Fighter franchise, specifically the character of Ryu. The "Ultra" and "Arcade" styles for this hat are also references to the Street Fighter games.

This week's hat is the Fire Fighter, which is for the Pyro. It gives the Pyro spiky hair held with a team-colored bandana tied on the back of the head with flame decorations on the tips. This was made by Big Bob, Earl de Darkwood and DJ and was added on August 21, 2020.

This cosmetic is based off of Ded Moroz (Father Frost/Old Man Frost), the Slavic equivalent of Santa Claus.

This week's hat is the Old Man Frost, which is for the Heavy. It gives him a pointed hat with a bell on the tip and a gold buckle, small yellow glasses, a white mustache with sideburns and pointed ears. This was made by crazy-g and Mr. Gibbly and was added on December 20, 2014.

This week's hat is the Kiss King, which is for All-Classes. It is a pointed hat with a white-gold trimmed crown and a bouncy tip, with a mistletoe attached to a ribbon. This was made by DeRosaJ and void~ and was added on December 20, 2013.

This week's cosmetic is the Smissmas Wreath, which is for All-Classes. It is a small wreath with three tiny berries that hangs on the front of the merc's chest. It was released on December 20, 2012.

The name is a reference to Alcatraz prisoner Robert Stroud, who was nicknamed the "Birdman of Alcatraz" due to him keeping several birds with him during his imprisonment. It also references the city of Aberdeen in Northeast Scotland.

This week's cosmetic is the Bird-Man of Aberdeen, which is for the Demoman. It is a green and yellow macaw bird that is perched on the Demo's left shoulder. This was made by VLEK💣ᴬʳᵗꜟˢᵗ and was added on June 27, 2012.

This hat, along with the Underminer's Overcoat cosmetic, are a reference to the character Gaetan "Mole" Molière from Disney's Atlantis: The Lost Empire.

This week's hat is the Arctic Mole, which is for the Engineer. It is a hat resembling a ushanka with a pair of dark goggles with team-colored lenses. This was made by Tabby, Sky and Barno and was added on December 5, 2022.

This week's cosmetic is the Digit Divulger, which is for the Scout. It replaces Scout's default hand wraps with dark, fingerless gloves. This was made by blaholtzen and Bapaul and was added on December 20, 2012.

This week's cosmetic are the Rat Stompers, which is for the Heavy. They are a pair of heavily worn-out boots, with missing laces and Heavy's toes sticking out of the right pair. This was made by Ducksink and was added on February 7, 2014.

This item is awarded to those that earn the "Banjo Hero" achievement in Poker Night at the Inventory 2.

This week's hat is the Bloodhound, which is for the Sniper and Spy. It is an oddly shaped fedora based off of the one worn by the character Sam from the Sam and Max series. This was made by Ruskeydoo and was added on March 12, 2013.

The backpack icon has slightly different textures than what is shown in-game. This cosmetic can only be worn on Halloween/Full Moon.

This week's cosmetic is the Hundkopf, which is for the Medic. It replaces Medic's head with a white canine head. This was made by Sparkwire, void~ and juniper and was added on October 29, 2014.
