The #StarWars#SkeletonCrew finale was freakin’ fantastic and so satisfying in so many ways. Can’t wait to talk about it on @TheForceGeeks. I had a smile on my face for many moments. I love this show! We need a second season. Star Wars #Goonies for the win! Thank you @Lucasfilm!
I’m super slow to respond, as I’m not on Twitter as much in the last few years as I used to be. This was really kind of you to share, Daniel! Thank you and we appreciate the #StarWars#Podcast support. Right back at ya! Thank you @StarWarsNowThis, you rock!
Star Wars podcasting for half a decade: @TheForceGeeks premiered 5 years ago, on November 18, 2019.
Congrats to Chris, Jake, @TFG_Nate, and all the show's listeners for reaching this goal.
Daniel (@StarWarsNowThis)🙂👍🏾
@laceygilleran I’m a big fan of Daft Punk and what they achieved with the Tron 2 soundtrack! Having said that, don’t count Trent Reznor out from delivering something amazing. I don’t think his goal is to replace what was done, but I would be shocked if what he does isn’t worthy of comparison.
Was told by a reputable source just now on the #D23 show floor that the crew working the ILM StageCraft experience will be heading to film #MandalorianAndGrogu on Monday. #StarWars
@laceygilleran Indeed! And going back through all those interviews, it gets interesting with the “deception.” Super satisfying and just a fun ride! The highs are high and the lows are so low. “Night” was an emotional rollercoaster.
So, “Night” was epic!!! Trying my hardest to stay spoiler free for all those folks who haven’t watched the latest episode of #StarWars#TheAcolyte, but dayummm! I just have to say #StarWarsBeStarWarsing! And I’m cycling through all the feels like Paul Rudd on Hot Ones.
Are U OK?
A little BTS to the writing process for “Day” and “Night” episodes of #TheAcolyte. Wow, that was a tour de force episode, as #StarWars is busy #StarWarsing! 😜 Nicely done! They let this one breathe and it’s a big payoff. What a fun ride!
Hi #SWTWT I’m Nate. I host @TheForceGeeks podcast. I’m a former TV news anchor who worked in #StarWars references (during the lighter moments) of a newscast every chance I got. I’m a life-long fan who is all about the positive side of the fandom, so I love this trend happening!
@maxfolkmax@clairekiechel Definitely agree with you And the pacing… chef’s kiss! That ending was tough with the abruptness of it, but I’ll be damned if I’m not baited and ready for next week’s episode. That was a mic drop of an ending! Also, let me hear it for Bazil! 😜👏👏👏
I have to admit I still don’t quite know what I think about last night’s episode 3 of #TheAcolyte. I appreciate the deeper story being told, but my expectations for something different and (I guess less deep?) are getting in the way for me. I need a rewatch, I think.
@StarWarsMeg1 Yeah, especially the fan reviews that are sure to restore your faith in humanity (said dripping w/sarcasm). But in all seriousness, I do enjoy reading the ones that are well thought out and genuine. And a genuine critique is fair. But some of the vitriol is just disturbing.
@MarkusMK73 @SWCulture @TheSWU That’s true about the Osha character clearly being uncomfortable in that moment and giving herself away. But for me, it was the way Qimir reacted, almost like he broke character himself and showed an edge of darkness in how he said, “You look just like her.”
@CraigMDickinson@TatooineSons @_starwarsthings @clarkgregg Absolutely! I bought the complete DVD set back in the early 2000s and I can’t even guess as to how many times I’ve watched. That show is why I am such a fan of Clark Gregg’s. When he takes their IFB earpieces… chef’s kiss! Of course I enjoy all of his work, but that was amazing!
@laceygilleran Very interesting that he sniffs out that she is not Mae. Is that setting up something for the future? And he handled himself exceptionally well when Mae attacked him. And he, for some reason, is the one who knows where all her targets are… does he have a toothy helmet somewhere?
