Another gem of #Alpha
A highly lethal serum used for a secret, off the books training program, which in it self is very dangerous in nature, is conveniently used by a senior army officer on his civilian pregnant Wife to try and save their child 😭😭
But but Superman didn’t save anyone 🥹🥹
But but Superman only caused destruction 👺👺
Even the so called deconstructions of Snyder’s MoS/BvS are filled with intellectual inconsistencies, and always equate that Superman to his best version in the comics, which itself is stupid.
You have to be a special kind of stupid to believe this. Every actor gets a script, and the script here mentions religion quite explicitly.
No wonder the guy’s a struggling actor, and will probably remain so for the rest of his life (unless the ecosystem takes a liking to him).
They did Superman really bad here. Not the biggest fan of how they chose to portray him in this universe, but he was definitely good in his solo movie.
Here he's just mocked, insulted, or straight up disregarded, except for the last scene in the film. Not a good sign for a SG film
The reason the ending doesn’t work is not because Supergirl kills him, heck that would’ve been perfect, but because when compared to MOS, it’s not exactly earned.
Zod had to die because he wanted to destroy earth, and he was very well capable of that. Clark, for all his powers,
Watched Raja Shivaji on Netflix.
There have already been several films and TV shows based on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s life. Every new adaptation should therefore try to raise the bar in terms of visual presentation and scale. Considering Riteish Deshmukh spent years on the project and reportedly had a decent budget, I expected a grand historical epic with much richer production values. Unfortunately, it never reaches that level. The film starts well, slows down significantly in the middle, then picks up again. That uneven pacing remains throughout.
The biggest positive was Abhishek Bachchan as Sambhaji Bhosale. He brings intensity whenever he is on screen, and Ajay Atul’s background score elevates his scenes beautifully.
A few sequences felt heavily inspired by Baahubali, especially the Purandar Fort portion. The chapter wise storytelling also reminded me of Aditya Dhar’s style.
Performance wise, Riteish shines in the emotional scenes, especially those with Saibai, but he never completely convinces as the warrior king on the battlefield. His dialogue delivery lacks the commanding aura expected from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Sanjay Dutt, meanwhile, sounds more like Munna Bhai than the character he is supposed to portray, with very little effort made to change his voice or tone.
Pros:
• Outstanding background score by Ajay Atul.
• Abhishek Bachchan’s performance.
• A few historical references that are rarely shown on screen.
Cons:
• Slow pacing makes the film feel dull at several places.
• The narrative revolves almost entirely around Afzal Khan vs Shivaji Maharaj. The rise of young Shivaji, including the capture of Torna Fort and other defining victories, deserved far more attention.
• Dialogues could have been much stronger.
• Genelia’s Marathi accent feels off. It seemed more like a casting decision based on familiarity than suitability.
• The VFX is surprisingly poor. Many scenes look like obvious green screen work, which takes away from the scale.
Overall, it is a decent one time watch, but not a historical epic that leaves a lasting impact.
Marathi cinema has always struggled with budgets and pan India reach. Casting well known Hindi actors to attract a wider audience was an understandable strategy, but in this case it did not work. Ultimately, audiences come for the storytelling and cinematic experience. Better writing, stronger visual effects and a grander presentation would have contributed far more to the film’s success than star power alone.
You have some shame first dalle
Imagine considering 🗑️ like Geylpha as cinema watchable material 🧑🦯
Apparently Indian agents train their children from birth to be assassins 😹😹😹
Kya chodu plotline hai bc
What does Dev Patel actually know about ancient India?
I’m assuming as much as the average non-Indian. So I won’t be surprised if it’s either dark revenge drama slop or just a straight up propaganda film🥀🥀
Dumping all the known faces in comedy doesn’t guarantee that the film is going to be funny.
Some guys in Choduwood havent learned shit from Dhurandhar 🧑🦯
-Gopi Gajmani,Pretum Jaypal
-Office looks more like some small waiting room in a small sized company.
-Random stock photos kept as wall pictures.
-Desk looks unorganised.
-Accents are not even remotely close to how we speak.
These Chodus didn't even bother trying with this one.
In a Conservative country like India, the OTTs were never gonna survive the sword of censorship.
That's why there's no substitute for Torrentz . Paying for subscriptions & not getting the uncensored version is something that doesn't make sense.
