Add batteries to your shopping list this week. A friendly reminder that #DaylightSavingTime starts this weekend. When you change your clocks, remember to also change the batteries in all the smoke and carbon monoxide alarms in your home. Smoke alarms save lives! #Toronto#safety
Daylight Saving Time begins this Sunday, March 8. ⏰
Remember to set your clocks forward one hour before going to bed on Saturday night.
This is also a good time to:
👉 Test smoke and carbon monoxide alarms
👉Replace alarm batteries if needed
👉 Review and refresh your household emergency kit
If you’re changing batteries, remember: batteries must never go in the garbage or Blue Bin. They can spark fires in collection trucks and at waste facilities.
