What is a Kaliwey ? This are the temples & the houses for the guardians and the ancient spirits guided by the essence of the Kauyumarie ( Blue deer ) , The Wixárikas use this temple to pay offerings and bring the energy from each steps that they do to all their visits to their sacred sites ; Their pilgrimage is a life prayer that embraces the intentions for a unification of balance, shelter, food, abundance among personal and collective intentions 🙏🏽 in here also sacrifices are permormed in the most honorable way an animal can trascend, the blood is offer to Tatehuari ( Grandfather fire ) and the meet is shared among 100 + persons to eat, but also the skull is turned into a marvelous artcraft to honor the animals life! There are mote than 200 kaliweys divided in major temples & family temples, @marakamenft will start building the central Kaliwey of the sacred sanctuary this 2nd may and will be the center of this magnificent project uniting the prayer for their preservation and spreading allowing the visitors to learn more of the tradition! Pamparios!

Estos son los templos y las casas de los guardianes y los espíritus ancestrales guiados por la esencia del Kauyumarie (venado azul), los Wixárikas usan este templo para pagar ofrendas y llevar la energía de cada paso que dan a todas sus visitas a su sitios sagrados; Su peregrinación es una oración de vida que abraza las intenciones de unificación de equilibrio, refugio, alimento, abundancia entre intenciones personales y colectivas 🙏🏽 aquí también se realizan sacrificios de la manera más honorable que un animal puede trascender, la sangre se ofrece a Tatehuari. (Fuego del abuelo) y la reunión se comparte entre más de 100 personas para comer, ¡pero también el cráneo se convierte en una maravillosa artesanía para honrar la vida de los animales! Hay más de 200 kaliweys divididos en templos principales y templos familiares, @marakamenft comenzará a construir el Kaliwey central del santuario sagrado este 2 de mayo y será el centro de este magnífico proyecto que unirá la oración por su preservación y difusión, permitiendo a los visitantes ¡Aprende más de la tradición! ¡Pamparios!

Wixarika face painting is a sacred art form used by wixaritari in peyote ceremonies. The ritual of the face paint is a offering to Kauyumarie in hopes that they can gain access to the metaphysical realm and obtain the wisdom & powers they seek. The paint is made from the yellow root of the Uxa bush that grows in the Wirikuta desert.

La pintura facial wixárika es una forma de arte sagrado utilizada por los wixaritari en las ceremonias de peyote. El ritual de la pintura facial es una ofrenda a Kauyumarie con la esperanza de que puedan acceder al reino metafísico y obtener la sabiduría y los poderes que buscan. La pintura está hecha de la raíz amarilla del arbusto Uxa que crece en el desierto de Wirikuta.
