It’s framed like it’s death of the person (I’ve also never played dark souls so take what I say with a grain of salt)

And then she dies, gets stuck in a tent and then the show ends. There’s nothing really done with the entire ordeal. It’s a lore dump, she cries, tbe she dies

@VaggieIsBae @Manga_Kamen Any real development. I think the entire ending, especially the lamppost scene, felt more like the start of an arc. Rather than a goodbye. Yes death is a consequence but it’s a consequence softened by Pomni getting some form of closure and able to see abstracted Jax calmed down

@VaggieIsBae @Manga_Kamen That’s true, but I also feel that her being a cautionary tale is a bad read as well. Like I very much see how it could be, but it’s a cautionary tale paired with an abuser, she made the choices to abusive for years. And she never apologized, and the show being cut short cut off
