@MirkoGerrits@L54cz@NXT4EU But why.
You are so adamant that bigger governments are bad for the culture, so what better way to protect the Dutch´s peoples culture by dissolving the dutch state and return power to the cities and villages?
@MirkoGerrits@L54cz@NXT4EU It's just the societal extension to evolution.
Like nature itself, societies have to adapt to changing environments or eventually will become irrelevant.
@MirkoGerrits@L54cz@NXT4EU "culture will die"
Culture does not die, it changes. That's natural and healthy.
Do you want a dutch "museum-culture" which can only exist on life-support isolated and sheltered from the wider world, or do you want a dutch culture which actually blossoms in the wider world?
@MirkoGerrits@L54cz@NXT4EU "specialize in something"
Yeah. Unless another bigger country get's the same idea and does it much more cheaper and effectively because it has economy of scale on it's side.
I mean you literally have the burning train-wreck that is Brexit as example on how dumb this idea is.
@MirkoGerrits@L54cz@NXT4EU "we profit big time from the export and import of goods."
"We can easily sustain ourselves"
Saying those two sentences in direct succession to each other and not seeing the glaring contradiction pretty much tells me all I need to know about your state of mind.
@MirkoGerrits@L54cz@NXT4EU "It litteraly proves"
Switzerland is more of a parasite. There are only a limited number of dictators and organised crime-lords which can bank their money somewhere. And that's not business-model for 500 million Europeans.
Also they basically follow EU laws without having a say
@MirkoGerrits@L54cz@NXT4EU Switzerland is a liberal capitalist democratic federation made up of mutliple peoples.
China is an totalitarian communist dictatorship with a central state.
EU and China could not be more different.
@MirkoGerrits@L54cz@NXT4EU "the point of standardisation across"
The whole point I'm trying to make is, that economic and adminstrative standardisation is actually a great thing because it saves costs and enables economy of scale.
Ever wondered why Switzerland has no plane or car industry?
It's too small
