Father to beautiful children...Husband to a loving wife...Player of Magic the Gathering...Maker of Wine...and I will have my cheese, in this life...or the next.
There nothing special about 3-cost PWs, just like there wasn't for 4-cost PWs. It's about rate, play pattern, and context. Oko is a sweet design balanced poorly. Pick a better mix of numbers and it'd play great (maybe start the card with 3 instead of 4 and -1 instead of +1).
I assumed the Tulsa scene in Watchmen was an indication the show was taking place in an alternative universe. Much to my horror this actually happened.
Thread:
A lot of white people were shocked to learn about the bombing of Tulsa from HBO's "Watchmen" while most black people are familiar with the bombing of Black Wall Street.
Even historians mention these events as isolated incidents.
@NissaCosplay@HipstersMTG Got it! Not accepting 'disrepectful' makes sense. I would note that people interpret words differently as all people come from different backgrounds and experiences. I perceived this statement to be looking for him to provide details of what he did and potentially to whom.
@NissaCosplay@HipstersMTG I'm not supporting Owen in any way. I'm trying, probably poorly, to be careful what we loudly ask for. Also aware my own take could be wrong.
@NissaCosplay@HipstersMTG should be admitting to you're opening up for this person to start listing who he did what too. Do we think all these victims want their names revealed. Maybe that's too far but without noting the line you're asking someone who crosses the line to KNOW the right line.
@NissaCosplay@HipstersMTG Also in no way am I saying it's the same thing. What I'm saying is it seems a bad take to ask for more details from the abuser when the victims don't appear to want those details out there for the world to know. Further by not setting a precise line on what the abuser (1/2)
@NissaCosplay@HipstersMTG Maybe there is a middle ground where he can give enough detail without exceeding the privacy boundary of the victims would like upheld. We're also talking about Twitter...which isn't the best medium for anything 'middle ground'.
@NissaCosplay@HipstersMTG What? No. I'm asking why we're asking him to deliver details the victims have clearly indicated they don't want to have to discuss. Seems backwards to me.
@itsJulian23 I don't dislike Standard gameplay but as a full time working father of two I get very little time to devote to MTG. I can't put enough rounds in with a deck to be competent with it vs the meta by the time the meta changes etc.
I have been unfaithful...BUT remember how I said I considered Merfolk to be one of the most underrated Legacy decks and how I strongly disliked Chalice in it? Decided to put my money where as (fish)mouth was! 🧜♀️🧜♂️🏆
