⚡️ Musk personally asked Trump to slow down Starlink for Ukraine’s military

The SpaceX founder publicly denied any involvement in the restrictions. However, sources cited by The Telegraph claim it was Musk himself who proposed them — and Trump backed the idea.

The Pentagon then restricted the use of the military Starshield system on objects moving faster than 160 km/h (100 mph). This made it harder for Ukraine to counter Russian drones, as the system is also used to intercept them.

The problems began overnight on October 14. A day later, Ukraine’s Defense Ministry reported that Starshield was working again in the field. However, on October 16, Zelenskyy said connectivity was gradually being restored and the restrictions were still in place.

Russia prepares new information attacks against the U.S. ahead of congressional elections – NYT

According to the "New York Times," the Kremlin is employing fake accounts, AI-generated videos, and manipulative content—including material focused on Israel—to deepen divisions within American society.

Scope of Russian influence operations:

▪️ 150,000 posts – researchers have documented this number of posts as part of the "Doppelgänger" operation. More than 50 fake accounts on X posed as Israeli women, spreading narratives about an alleged decline in U.S. support for Israel. Over 1,000 additional accounts amplified these messages.

▪️ AI-generated videos targeting candidates. In September, a network linked to the Kremlin circulated videos—likely created using artificial intelligence—that contained baseless accusations against Democratic Senate candidates.

▪️ 13,000 accounts suspended. The social media platform X announced the removal of networks linked to influence operations originating from Russia, Iran, and China. These networks had disseminated political content targeting American candidates and public figures.

According to the "New York Times," U.S. intelligence agencies have information indicating that the Kremlin has authorized a new covert disinformation campaign aimed at exacerbating internal tensions within the United States.

The "Doppelgänger" operation is directed by the sanctioned Russian entity "Social Design Agency," which has previously been linked to information operations in various other countries.

🚨 BREAKING: Zelenskyy urges the US to wake up

As Russia launched one of its largest attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, Washington decided to suspend the Graham sanctions.

Russia targeted more than 15 major energy facilities across Ukraine, launching over 320 Shahed drones in just 12 hours, along with other UAVs, cruise and ballistic missiles. Emergency repairs are underway.

“America's sanctions blackout, the easing of pressure on the aggressor, financial rewards for Putin — all of this only encourages him to launch more attacks,” Zelenskyy warned.

He said Russia was trying to leave millions of Ukrainians without electricity and heating ahead of winter, calling for stronger pressure on Moscow.
