@Thomsen419 Nice. I have shopped them several times but never come out on top. Quite happy with this one. Now to find the $ for the wolverine new and fielding dietsche Cobb postcards. ;)
First time I have bought from clean sweep auction house. Grabbed another of the early Cobb postcards. My kind of copy with a good image and enough defects to bring the price down. This one was also postally used (1910) by a baseball player playing in Perry, NY. Love the hobby.
Bringing over some of my learnings from sports cards to Pokemon. Always best to buy the more valuable cards first when building a player collection or set. Grabbed #2 last night and I already picked up #1 and 3 the last few weeks. Hoping to find #4-7 today at the card show.
@steelcitydw Well said. I think that is where the language variations and tournament cards come in for the Pokemon collectors looking for a challenge. Most of my attention/funds will go toward vintage but I am enjoying Pokemon as my whole family is into it.
The key advantage Pokemon collectors have is that it is possible for you to acquire every pack pulled card for a given character. That is not possible for sports card player collectors. I think this is overlooked and discounted too much as many of us are completionists.
Over/under on how long it takes Collectors to announce unbundling card ladder pro access to avoid letting current PSA premium members from receiving an extra 4-6 months of card ladder pro for free as part of the great pause?
Please don’t waste your money thinking regular submission turnaround times mean anything to PSA. But they did “apologize” for it at least. ;) Submitted back when it was 25 biz days. Now 31 biz days (let them have Memorial Day off) after the estimated date. Zero accountability.
