Jets are scheduled to interview former Lions executive and current Commanders’ assistant GM Lance Newmark on Tuesday for their general manager job, per sources. This will be Newmark’s second GM interview with the Jets.
Newmark spent 26 seasons in Detroit before joining Washington last year, and is said to have a strong relationship with both Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn.
#Lions DC Aaron Glenn, one of the top coaching candidates, is set for an in-person, second interview with the #Jets, per me and @MikeGarafolo.
Glenn will have options and electing to do his first visit to the team that drafted him, where he was an All-Pro, is significant.
Timberwolves guard Donte DiVincenzo is out indefinitely due to left big toe injury and will receive additional opinion, sources tell ESPN. DiVincenzo’s foot has been placed in a boot. He was averaging 17.5 points, 4.7 assists, 42% shooting on 3s as a starter in last 6 games.
Obviously it can't happen now, but what would we have called a Commanders-Ravens Super Bowl?
Baseball has had the Subway series, the Show-Me Series...not sure what this one would have been.
"Career-defining" is probably an overstatement, but whatever's one level less dramatic than that, that's this second half for Lamar Jackson. Gotta get it done in the playoffs eventually.
