@AugieNash Went there a few times while visiting my grandmother who lived near Shaw Garden back in the 70's. I thought it was cool, but I grew up on a farm in the Ozarks and we did NOT have a McDonalds. I was just excited to eat fast food! 🤣

@BeschlossDC Two things standout for me. I remember being at the local courthouse with my parents & grands, watching the burial of a time capsule. And being at the game when my hometown won its only state basketball title. ☺️

@hochman I was a college freshman at Anderson College in And., IN in 1985. Several college buddies answered a flyer from around campus & were crowd extras for one of the tourney games in Lebanon. Good times, great memories. ☺️

Saw a video the other day of him telling the story of him & his brother going to NYC just before 9/11 & that he was supposed to be in the towers when they fell but fate had other plans. @AugieNash Reminds me of a saying my dad would always pull out whenever, as a teenager, I'd bitch & moan about helping him build houses in the summertime. He'd say "Count your blessings. You COULD be paving roads in August." Then I'd roll my eyes, sigh & go back to work. I get it now. 🤣

@PowerMizzoucom I can officially say with the utmost certainty.....everyone in the entire stadium that day lost their minds, their sh*t and any respect they may have had for Big 12 officiating! Just remembering that day makes my eyes start twitching! Even today! Insane game! 🤯🫨🥴😵‍💫
