In the entire Northern Nigeria today, no politician can match Kwankwaso’s political journey and influence. No matter your political stature, this is a man who has served as Governor twice, Minister, Ambassador, and Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.
He has helped produce two governors, transformed a small political party into a winning force that secured governorship seats, Senate seats, and House of Assembly positions, and even contested for President under a relatively small party and still earned millions of votes.
Now, he has once again aligned with another smaller platform, and by the grace and power of Allah, many believe he can build a government in Kano and even at the national level.
So, what exactly is your political achievement that gives you the confidence to dismiss him? And what major political milestones have your own political leaders achieved? Have they ever taken a small party and won even a councillorship seat in Northern Nigeria?
Kwankwaso is the only politician jn Northern that has the strongest grassroots mobilisation.
He followers are being mocked by the word Makafi (blind) followers, and yes, Y'all are right, we are blind when it comes to kwankwaso, and we have every reason to follow how command politically.
We have been suffering from the northern political paid PRs, thinking they have smth credible to offer and thinking they can come at us.
Let's get this straight, if kwankwaso asks us to vote for a Christian-Christian ticket, we won't hesitate to vote and deliver as always.
He calls for Obi/Kwankwaso ticket, and we will do as he says.
Nigeria will be OK.
On this blessed day of Eid, I extend warm and heartfelt greetings to all Nigerians. May our celebration be filled with joy, peace, and abundant blessings.
Let us use this sacred period to reflect, pray for our dear nation, and earnestly seek Allah’s mercy, guidance, and intervention in our collective affairs.

Adamawa landed in the NDC bag 👜
Distinguished Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani, a leading governorship aspirant from Adamawa State under the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), on Friday evening, 22nd May 2026, paid a courtesy visit to the residence of His Excellency Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, PhD, FNSE, in Maitama, Abuja.
Q: Have you seen that some people are saying you’re working for Bola Tinubu?
Kwankwaso: I think only foolish people would believe that. They have been saying it, especially when we are in NNPP. Now, they will realize we are very serious people.
Breaking: IBB Calls on Northern Leaders to Save the Region from Collapse
Former Nigerian military Head of State, , has called on Northern leaders to unite in order to rescue the region from decline.
In a speech delivered this morning, Babangida stated that prominent Northern elders continue to pass away, a situation he said further highlights the urgent need for leaders to rise and protect the dignity of the region.
“You can see that many of the region’s respected elders are passing away, including top religious scholars, politicians, and others. Even I myself feel weak, and I am not sure whether I will survive beyond this year. Our prayer is to end our lives in faith,” he said.
He further stated that during their time in leadership, they did everything possible to ensure the progress of Northern Nigeria, citing the relocation of Nigeria’s Federal Capital from Lagos to Abuja as an example.
“If I had left the Federal Capital in Lagos and not moved it closer to our Northern region, perhaps today the North would not even be recognized as it is. Alhamdulillah, we have done our part, and now our time is coming to an end. I appeal to Northern leaders to unite and reclaim this region of ours, because we have no other like it,” he added in his address.
I have been made aware of the recent testimony by a former aide to a former state governor, in which he alleged that police officers claimed responsibility for the disappearance of Abubakar Idris Dadiyata in Kaduna.
Since his abduction in 2019, my associates and I have consistently prayed and advocated for the authorities to conduct a thorough investigation and bring those responsible for his disappearance to justice.
It is therefore reassuring that the Inspector General of Police, Olatunji Disu, has ordered a comprehensive investigation into this matter. I commend the Inspector General for this decisive and long-overdue action.
While we await the outcome of the investigation, I urge the police authorities to place the named individuals under close surveillance to prevent any interference with the process. I also call on the government to ensure that, upon conclusion of the case, Abubakar Dadiyata (if still alive) and his family receive adequate compensation for the immense trauma and suffering they have endured.
I equally commend the general public for their sustained advocacy and resilience in keeping this case alive, as well as Barrister Abba Hikima Fagge for his pivotal role in this latest development.
We remain hopeful that this investigation will finally deliver truth and justice. - RMK

Clarification on My Political Position
We have noted recent media reports and discussions suggesting a possible realignment within the African Democratic Congress (ADC) due to the current challenges facing the party.
In light of the misleading narratives in the public domain, I wish to state categorically that no final decision has been taken regarding my political future or that of my political associates.
The recent Supreme Court judgment, while affirming the legitimacy of the David Mark-led National Working Committee (NWC), also remitted the matter back to the High Court. This has left the party in a precarious position.
In addition, the Federal High Court has recently ruled to delegitimise the party’s recent convention. The Attorney General of the Federation has also strangely applied to a Federal High Court to deregister the ADC.
We left the NNPP due to externally influenced legal problems that made our stay perilous. The ADC has now been also forced into this difficulty.
Consequently, like other major stakeholders, we have commenced wide-ranging consultations — including with leaders from the NDC, PRP and others to explore the best options for protecting our democratic interests. We shall announce our decision in the soonest possible time.
On the issue of presidential candidacy, I wish to recall my consistent record as a committed democrat. In the 2014 APC presidential primary, I came second to President Muhammadu Buhari (whom I fully supported to victory), with Atiku Abubakar third, Rochas Okorocha fourth, and the late Sam Nda-Isaiah fifth. Similarly, in 2019, I contested the PDP presidential ticket and immediately supported the winner, His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, serving as the campaign’s coordinator in the North. I have always placed national interest and party unity above personal ambition.
Furthermore, the ADC is yet to zone its presidential ticket or take any decision on a candidate. I have therefore neither declared any intention to run for president nor endorsed any aspirant. All speculations to the contrary are premature and unfounded.
My absence from the two recent ADC stakeholders’ meetings was due to unavoidable personal commitments. I promptly communicated my apologies to the party leadership.
We shall continue to engage constructively at all levels. Any definitive position on our political direction will be communicated formally through official channels at the appropriate time.

Every individual has what he believed in.
We believed in Kwankwaso because of his track record which is undeniable.
You believed in a seasonal and serial looser who put his ambition above all.
We didn't call you names but have the guts to start calling us name.
Oya now.
Atuku established a private university meant for only the rich.
Kwankwaso established 2 functional state universities affordable to the poor, making tertiary education accessible even to rural dwellers.

Peter Obi miscalculated his move. He should have stayed at the Labour Party to settle their differences and build a formidable opposition. He was already gathering momentum with that party before he decamped to the ADC. Now, those political hyenas are not willing to give him the biggest portion of the cake. That is what you get if you are not politically calculated and patient. He is too desperate and needs to slow down. Anyway, I don't wish luck because that is how he will continue to look for what is not lost until his political career fades away like a mirage in the desert. Sad and pathetic 😪 😞
