@TFS0ul There is really only one main deal breaker for me and that would be if I wake up in Kokiri Forest, get the Kokiri sword, swing it a few times, and it breaks.
You take that breakable item system and you throw it in the trash because I don’t want it.
@magnetoshotjfk Mutants did not survive Genosha, the Decimation, the Fall of Krakoa, and all those horrible post-apocalyptic alternate timelines to be done dirty like this. We need a final boss level Karen to speak to someone’s manager and shut this down, immediately!
@EMMASTCROIX @krakoais4luvrs He was also “at odds with the Avengers” because rather than going to talk to Scott in good faith and an interest in collaboration and helping, Captain America listened to Wolverine of all people.
@Hussy616@amg_richado I think you’re right but Brevoort was very vocally pushing for Scott to be the big bad and referring to him as Mutant Hitler at the time.
@sandiskifn After a prolonged hiatus, I was going to start playing again specifically for the Magneto skin. Unfortunately, I was talked out of it. Started playing immediately afterward for Emma Frost in Absolute Doom but it kills me that I will never have Magneto.
@Hussy616 Tom Brevoort: We’re positioning Cyclops as THE big bad in the Marvel universe. He’s basically mutant Hitler!
Fans: That’s terrible. What did he do?!
TB: He stopped the Inhumans from eradicating the mutant race!
Fans: That doesn’t sound bad…
TB: …also it wasn’t even him!
😒
@newmedicine7 Certain people were aggressively pushing for Scott to be a villain during this era but they never could make it work. Meanwhile Scott was getting some of the most interesting character development at Marvel and Wolverine was just an instigator and a narc.
