Ten years ago today, I decided to quit my job and write about cars. This decision was criticized by almost everyone I knew. I earned $51,000 a year, I had a Porsche company car, and I had health insurance. Leaving that job was the single biggest risk of my entire life.
@TMFScottP Thanks mate..I did a bit of reading as well overnight. Turns out the class structure defined in the IPO gives us the right to own but not take part in "company decisions". Ultimately Mark Z owns the entire process so its up to him to decide on future splits as well.
@TMFScottP Well this is where it gets tricky mate..do I get to choose which company I want to own post breakup? for ex what if i want to own 100% of IG or Whatsapp?
@TMFScottP Or maybe Hybrid workplaces are the new normal which drives cafes/restaurants/bars to pivot to hybrid renting >>prices lowering for commercial property>>low demand>low income growth>low property prices>then the average joe reckons we should head back? or worse the system collapses
@TMFScottP Yeah but the downside is "Outsourcing" will be way more cheaper than in country resources which would then become a question of "Why do we need staff in country" when everyone wants to "WFH"..Just outsource..How does it matter..We have to be careful what we wish for here.
@TMFScottP Border closures state wise do make people angry but more or less we can travel freely in country(hopefully)-Imagine being in a spot where you can’t leave the country and are hearing family/friends in a bad spot and there is nothing you can do about it 😓

@TMFScottP Big football fan Scott and I think this one is like “peeling an onion” and there are multiple reasons as to why it didn’t happen.. just like stock picking .. it’s always complicated esp the result 😎
@feliperyan@matt_slotnick Broad question-CRM market SFDC will be a default but if you mix in ERP then SAP, MS, Oracle are bigger than SFDC's TAM. Productivity wise MS is the king regardless of SFDC's acquisitions and same goes for Infrastructure market. Azure AWS TAM>SFDC even addresses
