But yes, even if you go and ask the makers what the expectations from Haiwaan were, they know there were NONE. It is not even an @akshaykumar FILM because, if you watch it, he is hardly there for more than 40-45 mins in the whole film. There are some guys on X who are constantly doing negativity for films for which they are not paid, while they keep supporting and staying silent for films they get collaborations for. You know who I am talking about here😂 He does things for South Cinema just for likes and reposts, and that too for free because he gets those likes from there

So, appealing to all the #AkshayKumar Fans, PLEASE IGNORE THESE GUYS. Don’t give these desperate attention seekers the relevance they are desperately looking for please 🙏🏻

Haiwaan expectations were NEVER HUGE, given the fact that the makers themselves curtailed their expectations. Whatever is coming through theatrical business has nothing to do with the makers because the film was outright aiming for OTT and others and it is already in PROFITS for makers. Haiwaan Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️½

A dark, engaging thriller powered by Priyadarshan’s storytelling and the Akshay-Saif face-off. Worth watching on the big screen.

Priyadarshan, Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan deliver a dark, gripping thriller that keeps you hooked in this honest adaptation.

There’s something genuinely exciting about watching two stars known for their comic chemistry step into a completely different world. Haiwaan takes Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan out of their familiar comfort zone and puts them on opposite sides of a dark, unpredictable cat-and-mouse game.

And that’s where the film works best.

Priyadarshan, who returns to the serious thriller space, builds Haiwaan around suspense, atmosphere and the constant feeling that something is about to go wrong. The director doesn’t rush to give everything away, allowing the tension to build as Saif’s visually impaired character finds himself up against Akshay’s ruthless antagonist.

Akshay Kumar is easily one of the biggest talking points of the film. There’s a different energy to him here. His character is unpredictable, menacing and, at several points, genuinely unsettling.

Saif Ali Khan, meanwhile, brings restraint to a role that demands a very different kind of performance. His character’s heightened senses become an important part of the suspense, and Saif carries the emotional and dramatic weight of the story well.

What also works is that Haiwaan doesn’t forget that a Priyadarshan film can entertain even when the subject matter is dark. The film finds room for humour without completely breaking the tension.

And then there’s the Akshay-Saif combination. After 18 years, they return together, but Haiwaan smartly doesn’t try to recreate the banter of their earlier films. Instead, it gives them a completely new equation: one is trying to survive, the other is trying to hunt him down. That change is what makes their reunion interesting.

The film does take its time in places, but once the central chase takes over, Haiwaan becomes an engaging big-screen thriller with enough suspense, action and star power to keep you invested.

Haiwaan may not be a conventional Akshay Kumar or Saif Ali Khan film, and that’s precisely why it works.

#Haiwaan WONDERFUL FILM.

Make no mistake. HAIWAAN is more than just a thriller. Director #Priyadarshan kicks in the thrilling element only after a certain point of time. This is as much a heartfelt drama about human emotions. And it’s a wonderful blend of contrasting genres.

#SaifAliKhan plays a visually challenged protagonist who uses his wits and intellect to decode the dangers around him. He’s always on his toes and smarter than everyone in the room. It’s a difficult performance and the actor succeeds.

His nemesis #AkshayKumar is not exactly the HAIWAAN the promos suggested. Not revealing anything more about him, this is a man who means business. Charismatic but also equally cold-blooded and cunning. Again, a contrast nailed by his finesse.

And #DivakarMani aces his cinematographic vision to give this thriller an absorbing and enriching look. Every frame oozes style.

There are many shades to Priyadarshan’s 98th film that deserve your attention and discussion. It’s a must-watch!

#AkshayKumar transforms into a full-time #Haiwaan and surprises with his psychologically challenging character that has dark shades with mental elements attached to it. The opening scene and the climax scene is where he steals the show and makes you believe in the evil that he portrayed on the screen.

The film has a classy framework – a top-class cinematography – that deserves all the praise along witha superb background score.

The storyline has a #CapeFear touch and there is a lot of emotional boosting for #SaifAliKhan's character, who has done a decent work. The screenplay picks up a solid pace in the second half during those cat-and-mouse chase sequences. The ending feels fulfilling and there is a surprise cameo in the end and it's a pleasant one!

#Priyadarshan shows his capacity as a versatile director by handling the thriller genre with enough care and delivers a good thriller with nail-biting moments that completes all the angles. Overall, a fine thriller that you should watch this weekend with your family.
