CIVILITY 101:
a) If you want people to be civil to you, be civil toward them.
b) If you are mean or disrespectful to others, don’t expect civility in return.
c) Listen. Understand opposing views. Disagree respectfully.
d) Bullies claiming Free Speech, are still bullies.
@SFGate The main point here is a man with a legally carried firearm hastily decided to use that weapon to defend himself against a helpless man throwing shoes at him. Fear, anger & survival took over, and a man is now dead. This is the karmic future of America, people. It’s the Wild West
@FoxNews There are limits to credible defense of free speech.
Those limits have been reached, apparently.
This is real.
This is not a conspiracy.
This is not a witch hunt.
It is patriotic, evidence-based accountability.
It is the American way.
Innocent until proven guilty. 🇺🇸
@FoxNews Conservative America needs to get real. Queer life is part of the fabric of Our nation - like it or not. Imposing a zero-tolerance intolerant mindset on millions of LGBTQ+ families won’t make them go away. It will only make them more determined to fight for their rights. 🇺🇸
@elonmusk@wholemars Hmm. Seems everyone's intolerant these days, including U. If you want to change it, stop tweeting & bring people together at live, in-person town halls across the country. Get people actually respectfully listening to each other instead of yelling & trolling. That would help lots
@CNBC To everyone celebrating Free Speech here. Shoveling BS, spreading lies and conspiriacies in public is indeed protected by Free Speech laws. But that doesn't mean it's right. That doesn't mean it's not corroding our civic decency. We are all responsible for our words & actions. 🇺🇸
@HuffPost God forbid anyone speak truth to power anymore. Lies & propaganda are now called “truth”. The GOP’s acting just like fascists. Though they’ll call it “defending democracy!” we’ve heard this kind of talk before. Next thing you know dissenters will be herded up & sent to work camps
@seanhannity@StephenM@kayleighmcenany Clearly, indicting Trump will make him MORE popluar with his followers. So, given that fact, if DA Bragg's motivations were political, as everyone here seems to think, then it wouldn't make sense to indict him. Maybe Bragg is ensuring that no one is above the law. 🇺🇸
@brenonade His Dad was right. But Rep. Burchett is wrong to apply that logic to this situation. Why make it easy for killers to get the weapons they use to do their evil deeds? Why? Why? We all know why.
@HuffPostPol@RepJimmyGomez Truly sick. Truly disgusting. These folks have lost their moral compass. Folks can love the 2A all they want. Of course. But flaunting AR lapel pins when Americans have been massacred with those same weapons, is unconscionable, unAmerican, and just plain wrong. 🇺🇸
@RepMattGaetz Congressman. Clever idea. But what you are referring to as “patriotism” is actually more akin to nationalism. Which, we’re sure you would agree, is the foundation of all fascistic, intolerant authoritarian states. So, yes. There is legitimate resistance to your proposal. 🇺🇸
