If you want to prove this, check how long the players you mentioned, who played ahead of him, lasted some even ended up at Chiefs after failing at Sundowns. I can't speak for Themba at Bafana, but at Sundowns he has been important. For more proof, compare his goals at Sundowns to those players who played ahead of him.
