Congratulations to THS senior Anthony Talarico who won this year’s Chess Club Spring Tournament. Anthony defeated fellow senior Adam Stevens. Chess club meets in the library every Monday and Wednesday during DEN time and is open to everyone. Stop by to play a game or to watch.
Shout out to Mrs. Coats’ Graphic Design 2 students who created more amazing and creative Book Advertisement posters, which are similar to motion picture adverts. The library will add their creations to the Book Advertisements that already decorate the library.
More Gateway Award prizewinners: Kayleigh L won a Kindle Fire and Ellen K won a cellphone caddy. Gateway Award voters read at least two ’22-’23 Gateway Award nominees and voted for their favorite.
The Timberland Library staff enjoys celebrating our readers. Here are two of our Gateway Award voting raffle prize winners: Grace B, who won a Kindle Fire and Brooke M, who won a Harry Potter souvenir water bottle.
Timberland HS has voted and their favorite Gateway Award book for '22-'23 was "The Inheritance Games" by @jenlynnbarnes. If you haven’t read this puzzling mystery, stop by the library to check out a copy.
This was a weird one! Logan's (the stalker) POV was creepy, and Delilah's (the victim...?) was disturbing in an entirely different way. Find it at @THSreads
Winter/holiday break Library Literary Loot Bags are ready to be picked up. Stop by the library during DEN time to start your weekend and break off right! #WeAreWentzville
This Friday, I will be on @thenovl instagram live to chat with the lovely Savannah and answer tons of questions about #TheBrothersHawthorne, the next book in the world of The Inheritance Games!

@KBaltzTHS I really enjoyed "The Speed of Falling Objects," as well. I wish someone would make a book trailer for that book. For what's next, a similar adventurous read would be "I Am Still Alive" by Kate Marshall.
