Comets JV football improved to 5-1 beating CC 46-8. A Mcclurg with 2 passing TDs. K Pollard with 1 passing TD and 4- 2pt Conversions. N Petty 2 rushing TDs & R Helmberger with 1. Helmberger, C Boles, & J Lavengood had receiving TDs. P Blackwell and B Smith forced turnovers

On Monday the Comets JV football team moved to 4-1 beating Carroll 28-22. Aiden McClurg threw 2 TDs. Kyler Pollard ran in a score and threw another with :49 left. Ayden Hoover grabbed 3TDs catches for 147 yards. Braiden Smith led the defense with 7 tackles and a fumble recovery.

Comets JV football moves to 3-0 with a 20-6 win over Delphi. Aiden McClurg threw for 3 TDs. Ayden Hoover, Noah Zook, & Riley Helmberger all brought in a TD. Kyler Pollard rushed in a 2pt conversion & had an interception on defense. Cam Beachy with 3 sacks on the night! #GoComets

Comets JV football moved to 2-0 on Saturday beating NW 40-13. Aiden McClurg threw for 194 yards passing and 4 TDs. Ayden Hoover had 3 TDs, and Jacob Lavengood had 1. Noah Petty rushed for 72 yards and a TD. Comets forced 3 turnovers, Cash Boles had a 33 yd INT return. Go Comets!!

Comets JV football: 32-12 winners over Shenandoah. QB Aiden McClurg led the Comet offense throwing 3TDs. Noah Zook, Riley Helmberger, and Jacob Lavengood all had TD catches. RB Riddick Rose scored twice and ran for over 100 yards. Braiden Smith had 6 tackles and a fumble recovery

JV football closes out the season 7-2 after beating Clinton Prairie 24-0. QB Aiden McClurg threw 3 TDs, 2 to Riley Helmberger and another to Ayden Hoover. Micah Moore had 2 sacks, Kayden Butler had an interception, and Noah Zook recovered a fumble. Kody Lanning booted a 25yd FG.

Lost a tough game tonight at Sheridan 36-21. Lacked our usual focus and energy, but left it all on the field. Riley Helmberger and Cody Tarrh each had a rushing TD. Nino Maggard caught a TD from Aiden McClurg. 6-2 on the season. Prayers for Joe Hight who left with a concussion.

JV moves to 6-1 on the season after beating Oak Hill 27-18 at Cogdell Field. Riddick Rose had 2 rushing TDs. Ayden Hoover caught a TD from Cody Tarrh. Riley Helmberger added a TD on the ground. Game was won on the offensive and defensive line who dominated the line of scrimmage.
