Join us on March 14th, 2018 as we walk out of classes at 10am for 17 minutes. Each minute will be used to remember each victim of the recent school shooting in Parkland, Florida.
As a surgeon, I’ve operated on gunshot victims who’ve had bullets tear through their intestines, cut through their spinal cord, and pulverize their kidneys and liver. Rick Santorum telling kids to shut up and take CPR classes is simply unconscionable.
Very thankful for administrators & staff for being very supportive throughout this process! Students remember, Wednesday 10am!!! #msdstrong#enough#NeverAgain
Our student walkout is one week from today! We are looking forward to using our voices for change we believe is necessary. While this is a completely student-led event, we have confirmed with our administrators that students will not be disciplined for participating respectfully!
Enough is enough!
Women's March Youth EMPOWER is calling for students, teachers, and allies to take part in a #NationalSchoolWalkout for 17 minutes at 10am on March 14, 2018. Join us in saying #ENOUGH!

TIHS Students Against Gun Violence is led by a group of student activists who are fed up with the threatening effects of gun violence. Through protests like these and using social media to our advantage, we as students can make a significant impact.
