Five minutes.
That's less time than you've already spent scrolling right now.
What if you spent them on the one thing that actually matters — seeing yourself the way God actually sees you?
Your worth was never something you were supposed to earn.
God settled that the moment He created you.
Most of us have just never stopped to believe it.
40 Days to Look Again is 5 minutes a day to stop chasing something you never needed to chase in the first place.

Easy isn't the goal.
Easy rarely leads anywhere worth going.
If a choice isn't costing you something, it's probably the comfortable one, not the right one.
What's something you've been avoiding because it's just easier not to?
The greek word for compassion means to be moved from your most inward parts.
It's the same word Scripture uses to describe how Jesus responded to people who were hurting.
That's not comfortable. It's not supposed to be.
Where have you been feeling from a distance instead of showing up?
🎙️: The Dr. Josh Axe Show
I wrote 40 Days to Look Again for anyone who needs to hear that their worth was never something they had to earn.
Not through success.
Not through hustle.
Not through anything they do.
If you know someone who's been carrying more than they let on, this could be the gift that reminds them who they really are.

Compassion or Comfort?
You can’t have both.
Compassion literally means 'to suffer with.' Not to feel bad for someone from a distance — to actually step into it with them.
That's never going to be the easy option. It's supposed to cost you something.
What's one hard thing you could choose this week, for someone else's sake?
6 months till Night to Shine 2027. Let's go!!
First time hearing about it? It's not about the red carpet or the crowns. It's a celebration of someone realizing they've always had worth because they're made in the image of God.
Save the date: February 12, 2027. Who's coming?
Real strength doesn't need to prove itself.
Real strength doesn't perform.
It doesn't need an audience.
It just shows up, does what's necessary, and doesn't ask for credit.
Save this as a reminder next time you feel like you have to prove something.
Kindness isn't the opposite of strength.
We're taught pretty early that you have to pick one — be tough, or be kind. Rarely both.
But some of the strongest people I know are also the kindest.
Not despite their strength.
Because of it.
Who's someone in your life who proved that to you?
I’ll go first, my dad.

Boldness isn't the absence of fear.
It's saying yes in the face of fear.
Whatever you're walking through — God intended it, and He's using it.
🎙️: Net Postive Podcast
Bold isn't just loud.
Boldness has a real definition: putting it all on the line to do what's necessary. Not the version that gets applause.
The version that costs something before anyone's watching.
I think about that difference more than I say out loud.
What's the last quiet thing you did that made a big impact?
Do you put it all on the line to do what is necessary?
Boldness has a real definition: putting it all on the line to do what's necessary.
Not the version we post about.
The version that costs something before anyone's watching.
I think about that difference more than I say out loud.
Today is World Day Against Trafficking
Every day we wait, they suffer. Right now, there are kids praying for a rescue—for someone to step up, step in, and do something.

Defenders are monthly partners who fuel this fight every single day — not just on World Day Against Trafficking.
Your monthly gift helps us:
Find the vulnerable — locate and safeguard children trapped in trafficking and exploitation, like live-streamed abuse.
Pursue the buyer — fund the first-of-their-kind operations to identify offenders and equip task forces to take them down.
Protect the survivors – We help operate 52 safe homes around the world, with 21 more in progress of being built. These homes provide a safe, loving, and trauma-informed environment for our survivors to heal from the horrific abuse.
Last year alone, the giving family helped make the following possible
2,750+ victim identifications and rescues
1,290+ offenders identified and arrested
263 missing children located and safeguarded
That’s what your “yes” makes possible.

I don't know if we'll ever win the war against human trafficking and child sexual exploitation in this lifetime. But I know Who wins one day.
And until that day comes, we'll keep fighting to rescue one more.
Right now, an estimated *50 million people—children, women, and men—are trapped in the $236 billion industry of human trafficking.
Today, on World Day Against Trafficking, you’ll hear numbers. You’ll see awareness posts. But here’s the truth:
This crisis isn’t about stats—it’s about sons and daughters of God, hidden in plain sight, being bought and sold.
It’s not just overseas.
It’s in our neighborhoods.
It’s kids targeted because they’re vulnerable—and a trafficker saw that. We refuse to look away.
Until all are free.
Until all are loved.
We will not stop.

Your pride for His grace. Bad trade.
The moment we start thinking we have it all figured out we can trade His grace for our pride.
I've made that trade before.
His grace is worth too much to give up for something that was never mine to hold onto in the first place.
"God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble." James 4:6
Proud — opposition. Humble — grace.
Every single day we get to choose which one we're walking in.
