Here’s how sextortion works.
A predator gets an explicit image of a child, real or faked with AI, and uses it as a weapon. But not every predator wants the same thing, and what they want tells you which kind of sextortion it is:
•Sexually motivated: they want more images. It most often targets girls.
•Financially motivated: they want money. These predators often pose as a girl to get a teenage boy to send one image, then threaten to share it unless he pays.
•Sadistically motivated: they want to see a child suffer. They force kids to hurt themselves or others, and they record it.
No matter which kind it is, the predator is counting on your child’s silence. One conversation can break that.

American kids are dying by s*icide after being sextorted.
Sextortion is one of the fastest-growing threats facing teens in America, and most parents have no idea how it works.
1 in 5 teens say they’ve experienced it, and about 77% never told their parents.
Predators depend on that silence. You can break it.
Talk with your son or daughter tonight and make sure they know they can always come to you, no matter what. Try saying: “If this ever happens, come to me. No matter what you’ve sent or what anyone threatens, please tell me. We will get through this together.”
Know a parent who needs this? Send it to them.

You don't have to have it all figured out.
Following God isn't always about seeing the whole plan.
Even after I've prayed, studied, and asked people I trust, sometimes I still don't have perfect clarity.
That's okay.
You don't need the whole picture — just the next step.
Before you set your next goal, sit with this one first.
If everything on your list got checked off this year... who else's life would actually be different because of it?
Effort spent only on yourself has a ceiling.
Effort spent on someone else doesn't.
You can't control the storm.
You can control your response to it.
The bad news, the setback, the thing that blindsides you—none of that was ever up to you.
What you do next is.
The greatest lesson I've ever learned about courage didn't happen on a football field. It came from watching my dad show up in places most people would run from.
Day 21 of my new devotional, 40 days to look again is about what happens when you step out to the edge and why you don't have to be fearless to do it.

Faith was never meant to be a spectator sport.
The Gospel should cost us something... time, energy, control.
But faith was never meant to stay comfortable.
It's meant to move.
Where have you been watching instead of stepping in?
Are you waiting for someone else to lead?
It's easier to assume someone else will handle it, the hard conversation, the hard decision, the thing that needs to be said.
But if everyone's thinking that, no one's doing anything.
Be the one who goes first.
Let His Word be your light.
When you're stuck on a decision, Scripture isn't there to just confirm what you already want to do. It's there to challenge it.
Before your next big decision, ask: does this actually align with what God values?
Ever feel like everyone else hears from God but you?
It's the question I get asked more than any other. And honestly, my answer isn't a formula.
It's three things: prayer, Scripture, and wise counsel — all three, together, every time.
What's a decision you're praying through right now?
Peace is something most of us are chasing but very few of us are actually living.
Day 36 of my new devotional, 40 Days to Look Again is about what I've learned in the moments I had absolutely no control and where I found the only anchor that actually holds.
