@coffepopcrncine@AKEK1TA@knightzwayne Roy and Donna both have better dynamics and stories with Dick. Wally and Kyle have a much better one and honestly I think I like Wally and Roy’s more
@coffepopcrncine@AKEK1TA@knightzwayne I would be fine with a naturally developed friendship but what you’re describing isn’t what happened, Roy didn’t develop that way he was changed (as in his history and personality changed) to fit Jason
Dick and Wally is another friendship I think is vastly overrated
@coffepopcrncine@knightzwayne Well Jason and Roy aren’t exactly close now. They’ve had one interaction since Roy came back from the dead, Roy is closer with Dick once again
@diegovarela28 At least Lemire’s entire run is based around the clans, I still stand by the fact it’s a dumb concept (not into heroes being predestined for their roles) but I think he does really well with it
@diegovarela28 It’s kind of logical to build upon that. The forces could make sense, they’re a way to explain Jai’s powers and The Turtles and such, but it’s just not allowed the same room to develop
@GL2814_3 Multiple corps made sense initially to explain Star Sapphire and the Qward ring. Naturally it makes sense to finish off the rainbow
Black and white are pushing it a bit but the stories are good so it’s fine
Everything since is abysmal and a stain on the franchise
@haljordantampon@_TheSmartAlec1 I’m not counting the lanterns I was meaning the stuff based off them. Lemire’s GA is a far better book than Williamson’s flash or Johns’ Shazam
@Dejimon11 The Shazamily isn’t the issue, I think they’re a big upgrade on the lieutenant marvels (although they really needed unique identities), it’s the magic lands and 7 champions concept
