"I set up the Justin Fashanu Foundation to provide a safe space for current and future players to know that support exists, in the hope that Justin’s experiences, which he described as inflicting “heavy damage’’ to his career, are never repeated." - @AmalFashanu for @IndyVoices

Shocking remarks from both players.

This year’s World Cup is hosted in a country where being #LGBTQ is illegal with horrendous punishments.

It’s no joke.

If your Twitter account did get hacked @IkerCasillas which could happen to any of us... please could you take a screen shot of the email you must of recieved confirming the notice of activity change of your twitter account. Perhaps you can share with us all? @SkySportsNews @rtve

[The Justin Fashanu Foundation @TJFFOUNDATION]

We were initially elated to hear @IkerCasillas Twitter announcement yesterday but that quickly turned into confusion when it was declared to be a joke or his Twitter account was hacked. Either way the general responses have been incredibly disappointing....

[The Justin Fashanu Foundation @TJFFOUNDATION]

Our Founder @AmalFashanu has just gone live @rtenews @rtve to discuss @IkerCasillas and his alleged Twitter account being hacked.....What do you guys think.....@JoshuaCavallo

[The Justin Fashanu Foundation @TJFFOUNDATION]

It seems incredible that in 2022 we are still having these discussions. People are still not brave enough to live their lives in football authentically....and there goes @IkerCasillas @Carles5puyol making a Joke of it all?

This week, the Culture Secretary urged sports NGBs to ban trans women from competition

We believe this:
- Goes against the principles of the new IOC Framework
- Is not based on scientific consensus
- Further marginalises trans people in sport & wider society

We say #NoTransBan

❌ Once again we are questioning why this is still happening. You know the chant in question? It’s a hate crime. It is NOT just banter.

❌ Call it out, Retire the Chant.
