I also went to Ultra Miami with a small group that basically never left mainstage, so I spent 90% of that show doing my own thing and I’m very grateful I did that. Was also nice that i knew how to find my group if I needed them

People need to learn the art of the side quest (safely). My group is close to 20 people, if I wanted to go somewhere I would ask around, if nobody wanted to come, I would just go and know where to find everyone later.

I think a lot of people would have a better time at fests if you just learned how to do things solo. Don't want to see the set everyone is going to? Don't! See what you want! You'll find your friends again later! Do you know which sets I saw that I wanted to at LL? All of them!
