Thanks to @AmbKawar and @JoEmbassyUS for an important and timely exchange about challenges at the Holy Esplanade, threats to the political and religious character of East Jerusalem, and the need for local and international synergy to preserve prospects for a political horizon.

Breaking, important and good news. The Wadi Qadum demolition scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled, or better indefinitely postponed.
This did not happen on its own, and the engagement from friends of Israel abroad was critical.
Thanks guys.

The targeting of a synagogue for a terror attack on Friday evening is no accident.
From the Temple Mount/Al Aqsa to Mount Zion, from Neve Yaacov to the Christian Quarter, events in Jerusalem are being driven by weaponized faith.
Morphing from "political" to "religious".
