I do believe, stand to be corrected, that Henry Nicholls just became the first @BLACKCAPS batsman to score Test centuries batting at each of 3, 4, 5 and 6 in the order.
I also believe he has only ever batted at 3, 4, 5 and 6 in the order?
Legend!
@FPayne100 ?

Henry Nicholls, you ripper!!!
Absolute Legend!
Test 💯 number 11
=7 on the All Time NZ List with Astle
Average 40+ in his 59th Test
Hundreds in consecutive tests
That was worth staying up for.
Hope the haters enjoyed it!!’

Glenn Phillips perhaps? Still has time on his side, but has he really delivered yet on his undoubted potential?
Will Young? 41 innings and still @rencarrot doesn’t have ink!
@Abi_sirr I wonder had they had any suspicions Kane may retire mid series whether Will Young would have been in the original squad ahead of Nicholls.
Nicholls hardly inspires any confidence at 3 in Test Matches. I’m ok with him being our replacement for injuries at 4 or 5
@Ck2498@Lommy0Tatham Nicholls scored 150* in his last test, has 10 Test 100’s (only 7 NZ cricketers have ever scored more) average’s very near 40 & outperformed every young player in domestic cricket last season.
I’d love to see Mariu, etc have a crack too. But they’re not better than Nicholls yet
My favourite footballers of all time, oddly for a kiwi, are Argentinians.
1. Diego Maradona
2. Sergio Aguero
3. Lionel Messi
Pains me that Aguero never won a World Cup

@ShaunaDale18@ausportsmuseum@MCG Totally! A great guy. I met him in a bar in St Lawrence Gap, Barbados a few years back. He had no interest in talking about the ball of the century but happily chatted about the time Malcom Marshall broke his nose with a bouncer.
How good is it with the Football World Cup. Women’s T20 World Cup, US Golf Open and New Zealand V England Test Series all on this weekend…
You know, with no rugby worth watching neon on
