Republic and Mesa Merger is complete

Republic Airways Holdings Inc. and Mesa Air Group have successfully completed their merger, creating a leading publicly traded regional airline dedicated to safely connecting communities across America. Following the announcement on April 7, 2025, the merger received approval from Mesa stockholders on November 17, 2025. Republic stockholders now own approximately 88% of the new company, while Mesa stockholders hold between 6% and 12%.

With this merger, Republic Airways will operate the world's largest fleet of Embraer jets, facilitating over 1,300 daily departures. The combined airline will continue to support major carriers like American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines under existing capacity purchase agreements. CEO David Grizzle emphasized the mission of providing safe and reliable service, which will enhance value for all stakeholders involved.
