Australia has drawn the line at 16 for social media.

So why can’t India even have the conversation?

We regulate alcohol, tobacco & driving because we understand risk.

But we hand a 10 year-old an algorithm designed to maximise attention, addiction, comparison and validation and call it parenting. 3-second fame. 24×7 validation. Zero age barrier.

There was a time when people actually looked forward to the airport and flying experience. Over the last 3–4 years, that feeling has sadly changed. Air travel is meant to be the safest mode of transport, yet the experience in India has increasingly become stressful and nerve-racking. A few anxious hours in the air, with prayers on your lips from take-off to landing.
India deserves better—safer, calmer and more reassuring skies.

Sad to say the least. When a potentially special cricketer isn’t even the first choice, you wonder what message that sends to him. That “what if I’m dropped?” mindset can creep in very quickly.
India now needs to decide what its long-format core looks like. If we are serious about being No.1 in Tests, we need batters who can leave, defend and grind against pace and spin, and bowlers who can bowl long, disciplined spells.
And honestly, since Kumble and Harbhajan, have we really found a spin pair that has consistently carried India at the highest level overseas? not sure we have.

As a father of two, the issue for me isn’t NEET, JEE or any one exam.
It’s whether our children still believe that merit, preparation and hard work will be rewarded fairly.

Once that belief starts eroding, every parent should be concerned.

Funny how football changes perspective.

A few weeks ago everyone was writing off Portugal and Ronaldo.

Today, after watching Spain completely shut down Argentina in the final, Portugal’s run suddenly looks a lot more respectable.

Portugal had to face Croatia and Spain.

Argentina’s road was considerably smoother, with a few favourable moments along the way.

The final exposed the difference.

Spain were the best team in the tournament.

Ronaldo is still my GOAT. 🇵🇹🐐

The story is that most Indian fans expected it the moment they saw Bumrah wasn’t playing.

For all the talk of a talent pipeline, who exactly is India’s next great ODI or Test bowler?

Too many caps. Too little accountability. Too little experience. International cricket doesn’t care about hype.

It exposes quality. India don’t have a Bumrah problem. India have a Bumrah dependency problem.
