Karnataka govt wants to go ahead with decision. It will inform HC. Hearing soon. Chief Justice Abhay Shreeniwas Oka unavailable, a Division Bench comprising of Justices Aravind Kumar and MI Arun will hear the matter shortly.
Karnataka government is confident of holding #KCET exams on July 30, 31. They will inform Karnataka High Court about their decision. If the court points out issues, KCET exams will be postponed as Karnataka government won't have any more time for prep.
During the hearing yesterday, court's focus was on those coming from 6,000 containment zones. "How will they step out", the court had asked.
Not to forget, Karnataka govt is allowing COVID patients too.
If govt isn't able to provide a fool proof plan, postponement is likely.
With regular trains are suspended till 12 August how are the students going to travel to give exams. What is govt’s plan of action? With public transport not working, travel has become so expensive. Is govt going to pay for this?

The govt is overlooking the fact that we are 3rd worst affected country. It wants to go ahead with conduction of examination. Not once regarding about student’s safety. This shows the level of understanding this Govt have of COVID-19 situation.

Students will be tensed rather than they focus on the exam because of scariness. It has became airborne now, students are scared and mentally disturbed. So please reconsider it. Cases are increasing rapidly @drashwathcn@BSYBJP#postponekarnatakaCET#JusticeForKarnatakaStudents
