Cheers to 5 years !🥂. 5 years ago, i decided to create a hashtag #kickingthroughmentalhealth to bring awareness to the sneaker community and create safe spaces to let people know they are not alone. I can't tell you how much this means to me. It's always bigger than sneakers, and sometimes it's even bigger than yourself to put out certain messages. Being able to share my story and journey with you all has been a challenge within itself as i've had people legit throw it in my face, but the reward is connecting with people who also have mental illnesses, have loved ones that deal with it, or simply just in a rough patch. Letting them know that they are not alone. Letting them know that they are not a burden for reaching out. Letting them know that being vulnerable doesn't make you weak. I was so close to not doing it this year cause I've been struggling, but I'm glad I pushed through 🥹🤞🏽

Thank you all who shared the flyer, participated, and have supported me throughout the last couple of years. It means so much to me. Maybe one day we can scale this a little bigger one day, but for now, take care of yourself, be kind to yourself, give yourself grace, and please keep going ! 💚🖤💚🖤
