Recently 240FLM carried the late Divisional officer Peter Harman on his final shout.
A period as a training station officer. A guard of honour consisting of his recruits from 40+ years ago.
Peter was well known for all things Wimbledon as he headed up the Brigades involvement.

Today we are at the 'Old Fire Station' in Leswin Road, Stoke Newington. Now a Community Centre the building is the old Stoke Newington Fire Station built in 1885.
Closed in the 1970s and replaced by the fire station in Church Street which is still in use today.

Yesterday a number of members met for our AGM at Romford Fire Station.
A number of items were discussed with regards to moving forward with the TL project. It was also decided to welcome https://t.co/3EsJDQnSS1 into the fold to do our `uniform` embroidery.

Today 240FLM and it's crew had the honour of taking Chris Evans on his final journe to South Essex Crematorium.
Chris served at C22 Kingsland and C30 Holloway before promotion to DO.

Last week, a crew set off with 240FLM, heading to Basingstoke for funeral of John Cox.
John a founder member of the Group having driven, operated and ridden in the back of the appliance when it was posted to K22 Wandsworth in autumn 1969.

It was C23 when I was there in the 1980s, but looking forward 2 seeing how it has changed since becoming F32
