Anniversary Spotlight: 1962: Big Lucas

The Port’s gantry crane with 110-ton lifting capacity, named “Big Lucas”, began its service on April 26, 1962, by loading 32 Army tanks, together with other military cargo, into the holds of the “Marine Fiddler”.
