@CoachSwit @CoachHilliard16 Showcases, lazy college recruiting, and metrics based players. From 16 on up it becomes about the individual and not the team. Have two strikes, hit a home run, need to move a runner, hit a homerun, need to keep an inning going, hit a homerun. This breads zero bad hitters.

@CoachHilliard16 This is what is lost on todays kids. There is no sense of team. It’s “I, I, I”. Quite frankly it’s not their fault. It’s the showcases and the way you have to “self promote” these days instead of just playing the game and getting noticed for your skills.

We hear it a lot that we can’t wear green, we can’t play for Ridley. It’s called “RIDLEY AREA LL” and last night a group of kids and coaches who attend school or live from all over this map showed you “It can be done.” So proud of this group and they ain’t done. #RALL 💚⚾️🤍 #D19

Long day for these young men. First completing our 10 week offseason program with a couple of hours of practice, and then volunteering for a couple hours at SAA’s evaluations. It was great experience, as a lot of these boys grew up playing in the Ridley Township League.

As High School season approaches, I wanted to take the time to thank the great people from these organizations, who helped prepare our players, especially during times we were unable to work with them #ThankYou
