@BNightengale Throw seemed fairly close to the bag. Did something hang Croenworth up to the bag, or did he really just make the catch, spin, and get the throw to the bag before he could get to 2nd to take the throw?

@PensiveJustin @Guy75San @dennistlin Yeah the slo mo replay of the throw made it look like the throw was actually pretty on top of the bag. Might not of been a clean catch for an out but idk how he dives spins and the throw beats the 2B to the bag.

@RaoulMartinezTV haven’t seen the slomo replay of the throw and I don’t know how he managed to get it there too quickly but besides it being a short hop it looked like it was actually on top of the bag. Not sure if Croneworth was slow to the bag but I don’t think the throw was really that far off

@samperio_34 Yeah not saying that’s a good throw to make but it looked like the ball was thrown to the bag and Croneworth just didn’t get there.

@samperio_34 How he made that catch and get the throw to the bag before the 2nd baseman was there is astounding. Wasn’t a good throw but if he’s there he’s at least blocking the ball

@973TheFanSD Kind of feels like a dodge. He didn’t throw Tatis under the bus but he didn’t seem to be definitively defending him. He’s either avoiding looking bad after the early extension, or he’s incompetent if you didn’t know your own players injury history while giving him a 340M contract
