@CBSNews@NorahODonnell Great job as a journalist @NorahODonnell! You stuck to the story at hand and didn’t let your guest change the trajectory and get off course diverting the listener’s focus. Well-done.
Today, I signed House Bill 47, making it a requirement to have life-saving AEDs and an emergency action plan for using them in our schools.
I signed the bill at Worthington Kilbourne High School, where soccer player Canen Dickman’s life was saved last year when his coach administered an AED after Canen collapsed.
Representatives from the @NFL and many others joined us in support of the bill, sharing stories of loss and miracles alike. At the end of the day, these devices save lives. Having them on standby to safeguard our children is a must.
I stand in deep solidarity with the courageous Tennessee Three - my two expelled Black brothers Jones & Pearson & almost expelled White sister Johnson! Shame on the House Tennessee Republicans! @Justinjpearson@brotherjones_#TenneseeThree
@DrJMcLemore This is so true! Was chatting with a NFL player who was in negotiations and he was saving that they don’t even want to lay disability insurance. I was thinking the same thing about making up the game. WTF and then it took an hour for them call the game. Owner = Master.
I commend the players on the @Bucks for standing up for what they believe in, coaches like @DocRivers, and the @NBA and @WNBA for setting an example. It’s going to take all our institutions to stand up for our values.
