When you get a reply from a bot, troll, or filthy MAGA, open the reply, go to the dots at the top right of the reply and the drop down menu will have a "hide reply" option. It hides the bot reply from your followers. Blocking only hides it from you. So hide reply and then block
Fighting racism/bigotry often goes unnoticed. There’s no glamor. It’s sometimes thankless always dangerous. My ancestors had no choice. There are no options when you’re targeted. MAGA GOP attack the marginalized & those that help them. I’m built to fight, are you? #FreshWords
So it isn’t so much ‘verification’ anymore as it is who has $20 bucks a month to spare to look more official, trustworthy, and reputable on twitter. Blue checkmarks will be effectively rendered meaningless with this pay-to-play dumbassery.

Who agrees with @AdamKinzinger?
I’m not going anywhere. And my follower count actually rose! We need each other’s voices and strength, and I’ve never shied from a fight. When Twitler and the other deplorable are let back on here, I’ll be more than a thorn in their side.
