@sal55318410@CarolynMor12700 Sending lots of prayers for you. The same happened to me in 2019, I was almost 5 months pregnant with twins and I had to go to hospital and give birth knowing that there was no heart beat. It is painful but if you believe in God, he will give you and your wife the strength

Amazing talk by @joedale on Chat GPT, it's mind blowing what AI can do and the time we can save as teachers!
Thank you Joe, it's always so useful to liaise with you about new technology! #LW2024#ALL4language

If a student doesn’t have a pen, don’t ‘just give them a pen’.
Instead you could:
-Give them a pen and take note. If it happens again, follow up with a consequence
-Give them a purple pen so it’s easy to show parents days equipment isn’t right
-Teach them how to locate a pen
-Teach them how to pack properly for the day
-Privately, ask if there are any reasons why they aren’t ready
-Record any equipment issues, daily
-Teach them why being organised matters.
-Teach them to bring three pens a day.
Don’t ’just give them a pen.’ You are not Stationery Santa. Don’t teach them to be helpless. Show them you care by teaching them to be independent.
