For beginners playing @Showdown_TCG:
You do NOT need to jump straight into $100 matches.
I mostly play free reroll to learn faster with less pressure.
What helped me improve:
• Pick ONE class and master it
• Learn card timing before forcing big plays
• Watch top players’ decks
• Grind low stakes first
• Stay patient (variance is real)
I did that and just finished Top 8 in Weekly Main Event (+$105).
This is the deck I’m using right now 👇
Feel free to copy it, test it, and let me know if it works for you.

Quick alpha thought on @Niyo_nft
Free mint on Ethereum. 2,444 supply.
Clean manga/anime style with proper Japanese soul torii gates, lanterns, narrative chapters that actually hit.
Still flying under the radar while the story builds. Most free mints are pure gamble, this one feels like it has legs.
If you’re still farming early NFTs in 2026, this is one worth boarding before the boat leaves.
Get in or watch from the shore.

Top 4 in the final Showdown MEGA Farewell ($500 Freeroll). 🏆
Finished with $40 in winnings.
Not a huge payday.
But looking back, it feels like a fitting way to close this chapter of Showdown before Beta.
Over the past months, my journey with @Showdown_TCG has been more than just being an Ambassador.
I played.
I learned.
I lost.
I improved.
Some personal stats:
• 785 total games played
• 359 wins
• 470 real-money matches
• Positive P&L (+$19)
• Top 8 finish in Weekly Main Event (+$105)
• Top 4 finish in MEGA Farewell (+$40)
Most importantly, I spent hundreds of games understanding what makes Showdown unique.
Poker skills matter.
Card knowledge matters.
Decision-making matters.
And that's exactly why I stayed.
When I first discovered Showdown through MegaETH, it felt like an experiment.
Today, after:
• 4,227 players
• 85,000+ games played
• $270,000+ cash-game volume
• $47,000+ tournament prizes distributed
it feels like the foundation of something much bigger.
Now the game enters its next phase.
Closed Beta starts in August.
Public Beta launches in September.
The team is taking the summer to focus entirely on building the version of Showdown they've always wanted to ship.
As someone who has followed this journey from the early days, I'm incredibly excited for what's coming next.
Bullish on @Showdown_TCG.
Bullish on @megaeth_labs.
See you all in August.

first wave: 125 wallets. that's it. we didn't put a button for it on the homepage. that's on purpose. the wallets we want are the ones that look closely. it's on the site. go find it.
now the bigger picture.
$TALON.
soon. on base mainnet.
before the launchpad opens, the token comes first. here's why that order matters.
a token launch is a game. every launchpad is just a set of rules, and rules have incentives. almost all of them optimize for one number: volume. so they reward whoever is fastest, biggest, loudest. the outcome is always the same. snipers win. bots win. insiders win. the people who actually believe in the project get the worst entry and eat the first dump.
we optimize for a different number: the cost of attacking the launch.
if sybil is cheap, you get sybil. if sniping is cheap, you get sniped. if dumping is free, you get dumped. if the rules are social, they break the second real money shows up.
talon raises the cost of all four. the fair-launch rules are enforced on-chain, not by a mod who can be bought or pressured. the math does the policing, not a promise.
and $TALON is the engine of it.
every action on the protocol, every launch, every trade, routes a fee that gets swapped into $TALON, and 80% of it is burned. usage becomes scarcity. the more the launchpad is used, the more $TALON is destroyed. it doesn't need a narrative to deflate. it deflates mechanically, as a pure function of activity.
that's the part most people miss. $TALON isn't a logo on a launchpad. it's the meter. it captures the value of every fair launch that happens on base and routes it back to the people holding it. real usage in, supply out. forever.
why base: cheap, fast, and where the users already are. no separate chain, no bridging, no friction.
so the sequence is simple.
$TALON on base mainnet, first.
the launchpad, after.
privacy is for everyone.
the first 125 just get there first.

A project that recently caught my attention: @TalonProtocol.
While everyone is making everything more visible, Talon is doing the opposite.
Privacy-first launches on Base.
Interesting thesis.
$TALON is coming!
