Did you miss it? An album episode! Well, the first half of 2014’s Art Official Age. Dubbed an “R&B fantasia” this album is unusual and wide ranging, but ever so Prince-like. Off we go! Art Off, that is… #Prince

For Fun: The aftershow from the October 2002 performance where the track Copenhagen was recorded for C-NOTE #Prince#Musicology#OneNightAlone#Soundchecks

A slightly longer version of Copenhagen than the album version that appeared on C-NOTE (and the one that we covered on the show) #Prince#Musicology#OneNightAlone#Soundchecks

Did you miss it? As we round out our coverage of the Musicology era, we can’t leave out the release of the EP/album C-NOTE and a “homeless” track, GlassCutter. All in all, a fun way to put a bow on this time period. #Prince

Prince promised - erroneously in hindsight, thank goodness - that the Musicology Tour would be the last time he’d play his hits. Thankfully he ended the March 29, 2004 with Purple Rain, and would play his most famous song the rest of his life.
Another song that was likely a tribute to David Coleman, even thought it wasn’t explicitly stated, was 7 at the March 29, 2004 Musicology Tour stop in LA
Prince dedicated Sometimes It Snows In April to David Coleman, Revolution bandmate Lisa’s brother. He was very influential in the creation of Around The World In A Day.
