The North East Recovery & Stabilization Programme provides the much needed structure for proper prioritization, sequencing & implementation of projects for the maximum benefit of all citizens of the North Eastern region.
Today, I declared open the technical session between the @WorldBank team and @NePcni Multi Sectoral Crises Recovery Project Cell for the commencement of the North East Recovery and Stabilization Programme.
Significant progress has been recorded in collaboration with the @WorldBank towards achieving the aspirations of this recovery & stabilization programme with the $200million Multi Sectoral Crises Response Programme.

26th February 2018: I led a delegation from the @NePcni on a familiarization visit to the Emir of Gombe, HRH Alhaji Abubakar Shehu Abubakar at his Gombe Palace. He pledged support to the Committee towards the successful delivery of its mandate in the North East.
1st February 2018: I paid a courtesy call on the Emir of Mubi, HRH Alhaji Isa Abubakar Ahmadu who had been very supportive to the PCNI towards the delivery of its intervention programs especially in Adamawa State.
February 23rd 2018: I paid a visit to the District Head of Dapchi, Alhaji Kachalla Yuroma Kamba to commiserate with the people of Dapchi over the abduction of 110 school girls by the Book Haram insurgents.
In October 2017, the Committee sponsored 135 disabled persons across the 6 states of the NE to participate at the Disabled Day Celebration organized by the Kpakpando Foundation in Abuja. The @NePcni therefore, further reaffirmed its commitment to the 2 groups, for inclusiveness.
February 2018: The Joint Association of Persons with Disabilities, Adamawa State Chapter and Widows Association of same chapter paid the @NePcni a courtesy call in Yola, Adamawa State. The purpose of the visit was to seek a continued collaboration in the programs of the Committee
The aim of this program is to contribute tangibly to the development of the region by promoting access to IT skills and tools, thereby creating jobs and deepening human capacity within the region.
In February, the @NePcni as part of its plans to develop and promote economic development in the North East concluded plans to establish an IT resource centre across the 6 states of the North East, where 400 participants per state will be trained in various skills, annually.
The @NePcni is committed to the delivery of free health care services to victims of insurgency in the North Eastern States, hence the free medical outreach in collaboration with @prohealthimpact which had been conducted in all the states in the NE with the exception of Taraba St.
