Texas Tech QB Brendan Sorsby, who is under NCAA investigation for making bets via a gambling app, has retained the noted lawyer Jeffrey Kessler to try to regain his college eligibility, sources tell me and @PeteThamel.
If Sorsby and Kessler are unsuccessful in finding a path to eligibility, declaring for the NFL’s supplemental draft then would become an option. Sorsby would have until June 30 to declare for the supplemental draft.
The #Bears have requested to interview Connor Senger for their offensive coordinator position, source said.
Senger is Arizona’s pass game specialist and called plays in last week’s East-West Shrine Bowl. He interviewed for the Bills and Packers QB jobs last weekend.
Seven-time Pro Bowl kicker Justin Tucker’s 10-game suspension officially was lifted by the commissioner today.
Released by the Ravens in May, Tucker remains eligible to sign with any team.
That’s Nathaniel Hackett (arms behind back) who is here as a consultant helping with the defense.

Vikings and CB Jeff Okudah reached agreement today on a one-year contract, per @UniSportsMgmt CEO Kevin Conner. The 26-year-old Okudah had multiple options, but chose to return to the NFC North, this time with the Vikings to play for DC Brian Flores.
The #Browns are releasing veteran S Juan Thornhill, sources say. The team and Thornhill’s camp spoke in recent days and the decision was made to part ways now, giving Thornhill a few weeks before free agency to find his next home.
Thornhill had one year at $7m left on his deal.
Eagles Pro-Bowl center Cam Jurgens underwent a back procedure Tuesday in Los Angeles with Dr. Robert Watkins to alleviate nerve pain, per sources. Doctors believe a full recovery is expected by July, in time for training camp. Jurgens is headed into the final season of his rookie contract.

#Vikings WR Jordan Addison will have more tests on his ankle injury tomorrow, but my understanding is he is not believed to have suffered a major injury.
Good news for an offense that saw Sam Darnold look effortless — with his only INT coming on a deflected pass after being hit
