The NBA is the only sports league on Earth where the people paid to cover it:
1. Don’t watch the sport.
2. Tell you how bad the modern league is.
3. Have personal vendettas with players.
4. Tear down the players every chance they get.
The media is everything wrong with the NBA.
Things ESPN could be discussing instead of Stephen A. Smith vs. LeBron
- The Rockets winning 10 of their last 11 games
- The Celtics winning 7 games in a row
- Ramifications of the Damian Lillard injury
- Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers looking like contenders
- The historic turn around the Pistons are currently having
- The defensive player of the race heating up
- What’s next for the Sixers after a disappointing season
- Literally any potential playoff matchup
"I've always believed that this kid has the potential, once I watched him, to be in the NBA."
- Stephen A. Smith on Bronny James

Did you think Vanderbilt would beat Bama?
Did you think NIU would beat Notre Dame?
Did you think Kentucky would beat Ole Miss?
Did you think Ga Tech would beat Miami?
Biggest flaw in college football is creating a playoff based on who we THINK are the best teams.
The narrative that the Big 12 is “mediocre” when there is an upset or close game but the SEC and Big 10 are “such deep conferences” is just lazy at this point.
LSU lost to USC who is now 1-4 in the Big 10 with losses to Michigan, Maryland and Minnesota. Michigan might not make a bowl game.
Alabama lost to Vandy who has lost to Georgia State and was tied with Ball State entering the 4th quarter yesterday.
Tennessee lost to Arkansas who lost to “mediocre” Oklahoma State.
Ole Miss lost to Kentucky who lost by 28 to Florida who lost by 24 to Miami.
Penn State and Texas A&M had to sneak out with 1 score wins against Bowling Green who is currently 3-4.
A&M & Georgia couldn’t put away Mississippi State who trailed by 27 against Arizona State and lost by 24 to Toledo.
Notre Dame lost to Northern Illinois who is 1-2 in the MAC.
Can we drop this narrative? Maybe the gap between elite and very good teams is just smaller than it ever has been.
