Since 2022, DeVonta Smith has run 252 routes (equivalent of roughly 9 games) *without* A.J. Brown on the field.

On those plays, he's averaged 2.6 yards per route run. That's 99th percentile.

For reference, only WRs who averaged better than 2.6 YPRR in 2025: Puka Nacua and JSN.

@hobo4ever3 @TheActualCC I agree it’s not as good for having the cheapest way to the best squad. EA probably thought SZN players were a little to OP last year (they 100% were in 25) and this leads to more team diversity and a healthier mode. I think id agree with them but EVOs can cause issues too.

@ZachsEleven @Zirksee It’s not a static decision, new cards come out daily. FUT community notoriously got screwed with evos so much so they patched the ability to remove evos into the game this year. It’s also not on the consumer to assume the way they work originally is not as intended.

@eagles1111111 @CallMeMeech_ I’m pretty sure it was some sort of glitch that caused people to get double pre order bonuses so EA did something to stop that. I’m sure they have a plan and will work but FYI the MvP bundle doesn’t gain access until next Tuesday(I think)..Only MVP+ subs get it tomorrow

And if they found a way to possibly monetize to make it worth it, it gets even messier with likeness and community outrage.

@iJoebruin This is insane take from someone who understand these economies as good as you do. MUT is the best market and economy in ultimate teams by so far it’s not even worth discussing other games. Price means nothing without the variable of how easy/hard it is to acquire said coins.

@iamrahstradamus The problem is, how could you possibly enforce it. Also the strength of the Players Union in the NBA will never let it fly. Banning player props at this point is 100% impossible. The loss of revenue would be just catastrophic for the league.

@JoshEberley Obviously there is more nuance than that but for twitter sake.. yes that’s exactly what we’re doing. Playing 82 games just to hopefully make it easier to win that trophy. It 100% should be the most important factor
