This “failed government” has been surprisingly legislatively successful. Although the only people deny that a government that’s advanced drastic ethics reform and has made life so much cheaper are those denying the legitimacy of our elections!
Okay so let me get this straight: the PPC says they are fighting against this 'corrupt government', but they are sucking up to 1/2 members of the Kirtley government who has evidence-based allegations of corruption against him?
Alexander Clark is hardly in a position to be calling anyone chronic liars. He campaigned on many promises and he broke every single one. He has spent his whole political career dodging political responsibility, even when he chose to work with extremists.
But let me engage with the idea that it's a corrupt government. No one pretends the Kirtley trio has not been corrupt. That being said, the government ousted the corrupt parts of it quite rapidly and is currently pushing for extensive anti-corruption legislation.
People aren't stupid. The PPC's promises are completely meaningless and are more or less what the Conservatives are offering. Let me break down their quite frankly dishonest promises.
4) Be a true voice of the Albertan people against this corrupt unelected government. A) I doubt most of them feel represented by election deniers, B) A Conservative government was elected, it just happens the leader was ousted after being accused of corruption.
So we've got a party running on a platform of denying the 2044 Alberta election results in this by-election and a party that literally is responsible for terrorism fielding their leader as a candidate.
Their paramilitary wing bombed key infrastructure, but it was merely 'a mistake'? Their paramilitary wing killed people, but it was merely 'a mistake'? These people threatened voters who voted against them, but it was merely 'a mistake'?
So one day the PPC is calling on Kirtley to resign and now they are claiming a great assault on democracy because he did exactly what they asked for. Is anyone else confused?
When the Taiwanese press reported on me, it was to report that someone of Taiwanese descent was elected Prime Minister in Canada.
When they reported on Kirtley, it was to cover his almost comically disastrous press conference with the President of Taiwan.
Brian Kirtley is a joke.
