@Empty_America I find "classics" as in livy, homer, herodotus, dante, etc really hard to read - I still enjoy it, but they actually require energy and effort. Most "literature" written in last 200 years or so fairpy easy and enjoyable - Dumas for example

@ZoomerHistorian Im against race micing as much as the next guy but this is a bad example - the dude is professionally accomplished, has a doctorate and is a member of parliment. Clearly a top 0.1% man. Women are attracted to men who are like that regardless of race.

You have to accept that creating a giant bureaucracy, that represents no identifiable in-group against an identifiable out-group, that increasingly exists to serve itself, and that gobbles up tax revenue for unproductive -and- (increasingly) unmilitary purposes, is a bad thing, actually.
